Dora Sasu, born in Romania, is a self taught designer since she discovered her passion for sewing and fabrics in the age of 8. She was brought up in a family with strong values instilled by independent, beautiful women who never stopped fascinating her with their class and style. She passed those traits onto her work, by creating designs that reveal a woman’s beauty and self-confidence.
Dora was always fascinated with silk and lace, her favorite games were sneaking into my grandma’s room only to use her sturdy, loud, vintage sewing machine, or exploring through my mother’s closet, in search for new materials for my dolls’ fancy wardrobe. Her passion creativity for fashion brought her into the bridal world and she started creating unique couture wedding dresses.
Beautifully crafted, her gowns offer a twist on the traditional designs with that hint of boldness, while maintaining the specific grace and poise that represents her style.
